Mumbai, India – February 28, 2013 – BASF’s new personal care brand “Care Creations” will be launched in India for the first time at HPCI 2013. More than 30 product formulations, designed for applications including skin care, sun care, hair care, color care and home care, will be displayed in an interactive setting to demonstrate how consumer needs can inspire solutions from the world of chemistry. In addition, a range of home care solutions will demonstrate how the latest innovations can help reduce water consumption and save resources for Indian homes.

 

BASF displays the innovative formulations for color cosmetics from day time to night time.

UV filters with high photo stability for reliable long lasting sun protection

BASF is one of the largest manufacturers of UV filters matching the challenging market demands for sunscreens that provide broad-spectrum protection and high photostability along with ease-of-use and skin-caring properties. BASF’s Tinosorb® and Uvinul® UV filter portfolio is one of the most comprehensive in the industry. They offer effective, long-lasting protection against a wide spectrum of UV rays, are suitable for a wide range of formulations. In addition, they offer protection against free radicals that can for example cause premature skin aging, skin pigmentation, dryness and more.

BASF offers a broad and dedicated portfolio to the Home Care and I&I industry that help meet consumer requirements, including ingredients made from renewable resources, products that can facilitate bleaching in cold water washing conditions, and reduce water consumption. Surfactants form the natural based Glucopon® range enable streak-free cleaning of hard surfaces. The oxidation catalyst Tinocat® TRS KB2 improves bleaching performance and protects fabrics against discoloration and graying.
